A/MG is an acronym for Allison Mc Greal Suits and A Marc Gysemans Suit. The brand name was developed with great care and was given a lot of thought in its creation. Having the same initials was pure coincidence that didn't go unnoticed. The slash represents our differences in age, nationality, gender, experience, and vision but together have created a synergy and more importantly a lot of fun.

For more than 30 years, Marc Gysemans has been specialised in developing and manufacturing high end prêt-à-porter clothing at Gysemans Clothing Group. Having worked with international designers such as Raf Simons, Namacheko, Veronique Branquinho, Stephan Schneider, Kris Van Assche, AF Vandevorst and many more, he is known for his expertise, savoir-faire, his rigour and last but not least his humility. Through the crisis, Marc managed to keep his core ateliers in Leuven and in the early noughties built ateliers in Bucharest. By doing so he has been able to maintain his position as one of the leaders in Europe.

With a degree in international business, Allison Mc Greal has worked in fashion since she was 16 years old. As a child, her curious and entrepreneurial mind-set led her to believe that everything was worth trying. Thanks to a wide range of professional experiences in Belgium, Madrid, London, Paris and Milan and having been trained by some of the best: Maison Michel, Base Design, Scabal, Anthony Vaccarello, Action+Service, Thom Brown, Jean Paul Knott and Villa Eugénie to name a few; she acquired a great understanding and knowledge of the nature and scope of the fashion industry's mechanism, beauty and flaws. Her interest in sustainable and responsable fashion grew leading her to found The Fabric Sales in 2012, and since 2016 she is fully dedicated to A/MG Suits and continues to consult for other brands.
